Wow, discovered this restaurant while spending a week in Salerno and exploring the Amalfi Coast each day. The restaurant is owned by Luigi (Gigi) and his wife. They are the most gracious hosts. Food is incredible and they serve wonderful wines that pair beautifully with the high quality food. My husband I enjoyed so much that we had dinner twice at Zizzinella, something we don't generally do while on vacation, as I like to check out/experience new places. No regrets, second visit was as good as the first! The second time we met the chef, Marco, who despite speaking very little English, was gracious and warm. We were hosted in Salerno by some good friends that did not know Zizzinella, and we purchased them a "gift card", which they used and enjoyed tremendously. Check this fine restaurant out. Also, in nice weather, you can sit at a table outside on a quiet charming street of Old Town Salerno. Enjoy!!!!
